Designer Jamie Butterworth, approached Bakewell-based supplier Stone Warehouse to support the garden through the supply of hard landscaping materials Wedgwood and the Royal Horticultural Society have anintertwined history with John Wedgwood (the son of Josiah Wedgwood) being a founding member of the RHS in 1804. His ideas have inspired the design of the garden which reflects his original vision to bring gardening to everyone by involving and improving people's lives. The garden has been deslgned by RHS ambassador and horticulturalist lamie Butterworth Jamie's design incorporates the distinctive Wedgewood Jasperware blue alongside deep bargundy in the plantingand lush green foliage. Many of the plants in the garden will be inspired by lohn Wedgwood's original journal: dating back to the 1800s, which was full of plants he enjoyed growing.
